I have lived, studied, and worked in three different countries, including the United States, Kenya, and China. These interactions exposed me to new experiences vastly different from my own upbringing and helped me to develop critical perspectives on many issues and topics. I respect people from all backgrounds and am committed to working toward a more just and equitable society through education.
