Toya Pedracine-Stewart is a native Madisonian. As a member of One City Schools' Board of Directors, Toya represents One City’s parent-led Parent Council and supports the organization's family and community engagement, fundraising and partnerships, and CEO evaluation efforts. She currently has one child enrolled in One City and has been a One City parent for four years.
Ms. Pedracine-Stewart is currently the Lead HR Analyst with the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) where she participates in hiring teaching and other staff for MMSD schools and serves as a liaison to Madison’s public high schools. Prior to MMSD, she enjoyed a 20-year career with the State of Wisconsin serving in different roles, including child support, human resources, and as an IT business analyst.
Ms. Pedracine-Stewart is a graduate of Madison West High School. She also earned her associate’s degree in accounting from Madison College. She is married with five children, including three sons ages 24, 17, and 15 and two daughters ages 23 and 6. She is dedicated to ensuring children receiving a positive, effective, and well-rounded education from birth through high school graduation.
In her spare time, Mr. Pedracine Stewart enjoys volunteering at One City, networking, building relationships, and spending time with her family and friends. She is also recognized as her family’s Lip Sync Champion!
